AgriEdge Specialist

In this role you will maximize sales and market share within your territory, developing strong business relationships with customers and ensuring their support of and satisfaction with Syngenta products. You will develop, maintain and manage strong customer relationships through direct calls, business meetings, workshops, seminars and demonstration. To be successful in this role, you will excel at establishing valued partnerships with our customers. You will demonstrate an in-depth understanding of their current and aspirational business, strong agronomic knowledge and a solid understanding of our product portfolio.   Although the majority of your day to day responsibilities will require that you are a self-starter and can work autonomously, you will be an integral member of a District Sales team as the subject matter expert on our AgriEdge tools and offers.  You will also be an active participant on the broader AgriEdge team where you will collectively strategize ways to leverage our AgriEdge program and associated offers, and help the team stay current on trends in digital farming.   AgriEdge Excelsior(TM) is a proven agribusiness model that is providing growers a technology-enabled farm management solution to offer crop prescriptions, record keeping, risk management, product assurances, regulatory compliance tools, and industry leading service.   Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Serve as AgriEdge business expert within assigned sales district Provide training, business planning, and technical support to enrolled growers, channel partners and key internal stakeholders on all AgriEdge Programs and offers Identify additional opportunities to grow revenue and share in crop markets Act as primary liaison for all channel partners and retail accounts within territory which includes developing and implementing annual business plans to influence end-user demand Create demand at the customer level, ensuring that the customer is knowledgeable about our products and has further interest in Syngenta solutions Regularly collect and report market intelligence and relevant value chain insights; articulate new and innovative ideas and strategy recommendations based on grower needs Analyze program data, develop value propositions, and manage exposure of risk management program Work in collaboration with district sales team to achieve district(s) sales goals and the seeds sales teams to leverage whole farm solutions across the portfolio Provide key stakeholders with accurate forecasting for AgriEdge customers within territory Manage operational budget, variable selling expenses, and marketing funds within district guidelines   Qualifications   Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree required, concentration in Agricultural field preferred A minimum of 5 years of experience in a B2B or Retail Sales role within the Agricultural industry required Aptitude for digital solutions and information technology Experience implementing sales strategy, managing commercial accounts and meeting sales objectives Agronomic knowledge of the crops grown within the district Understanding of market dynamics within the district (Growers, Distributors, Retailers, Competitors) Additional Knowledge, Skills, Traits & Abilities: Is passionate about Digital technology enabling tying Agronomics to Economics Works effectively independently and within a team setting Demonstrates excellent sales and negotiation skills Exhibits patience and diplomacy and enjoys helping, teaching and leading others Understands the complexities of farming and can identify a grower's challenges and opportunities Has exceptional time and priority management skills and is able to work in a self-managed way 18003223

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
